And his backing helped her and partner Lucy Lauretta to success in the ladies doubles, where they defeated mother and daughter team Frances and Louise Ferguson.

The most thrilling match of the weekend was between Club coach, Jon Lee, and Simon Cuthbert, who battled against David Tubbs and Graham Bloomfield in the men's doubles.
The game saw some electrifying tennis from both teams with Tubbs and Bloomfield winning.
