A Basildon charity shop will celebrate ten years of raising funds for heart patients and vital research later this month.
The British Heart Foundation shop in Southernhay has invited residents along on July 28 to mark the occasion.
Shop manager Elaine Thompson said: "A big thank you to everyone who has supported us. We would not be able to operate without the support of the community and our dedicated team of volunteers."
Hazel Merritt and Iris Starling, who have been volunteering at the shop for ten years, and Margaret Barbers and Sheila Starling, who have been giving up their time for five years, are to be presented with long-service awards.
