A world champion athlete was guest of honour at an awards evening.
Essex athlete Julie Pratt spoke of her experiences as world junior champion hurdler at Colne Community School and College's annual sports award evening.
Close to 600 students, staff, parents and guests crammed into the Brightlingsea school's sports hall for the event.
