Community groups and charities in Witham have been urged to tap into thousands of pounds which are being made available through a local business.
Insurance company Marsh, based in Grove House, Newland Street, Witham, is inviting groups representing good causes throughout the area to apply for funding.
The firm donates funds to local charities and community activities as part of its community relations programme. More than £4,700 was shared between seven local charities in the previous round of donations through the foundation.
Since April 2002, more than £22,000 has been given in grants to about 30 charities. Previous beneficiaries include Witham Toy Library, Rivenhall Friendship Club, First Stop Centre, Sycamore Counselling and Training and the Witham Child Contact Centre.
The deadline for applications is Monday, August 9 and anyone wishing to apply for funding should contact the foundation on 01245 356018
