Last week saw some good fish on the banks of Basildon's Aquatels.
John Ashton fished a couple of sessions over the back area, landing tench to more than 8lb, roach and perch over 2lb and good bags of smaller fish.
Lloyd Mahoney also enjoyed good bags from the Essex pool of the Basildon complex.
He had some good tench as well as a large bag of roach and perch, mostly in the 10-12oz range. Gavin Piper found five tench between 4-5lb in the Essex Pool, while Simon Bear got among the big bream from the south beach.
His seven bream averaged about 6lb, along with five tench at the 5lb mark.
