Roadshows, awards and 20,000 leaflets are the latest initiatives in the bid to combat anti-social behaviour in Braintree.
Braintree Council has produced the four-page A3 size colour leaflets, which will be circulated throughout the district.
Titled "A Safe District", the leaflets will also appear in newspaper adverts and will be delivered door-to-door.
They have been produced by the community safety partnership which consists of the council, police and its partner organisations.
The leaflets, funded by a Home Office grant, explain what is meant by anti-social behaviour and different ways of helping people break out of "self-destructive" lifestyles.
There will be information about types of anti-social behaviour, how money is spent on schemes to combat problems and police community support officers.
