From abseiling to karate and playing your cards right, a Wickford primary school made its summer fair a day to remember.

The event at Grange Primary featured a jam-packed diary of treats including a display from the school's gymnastics team and boogie band, and local dance club, Steps.
The children also had a go at abseiling, karate and tai chi, as well as the usual stalls like raffles, tombola and crockery smashing.
All money raised went towards the Parent Teacher Association.
Tina Wing, chairman of the committee, said: "We had an early shower but the day seemed to go well enough. We were slightly down on last year because of the weather and Sport Relief. However everyone looked like they were having fun which is the main thing."
