An award-winning headteacher is to offer crucial help, advice and support to get Prittlewell Technology College off special measures.
Alan Roach, of Chalvedon School in Pitsea, will help draw up action plans and guide staff at the school to improve standards.
He was drafted in because he is head of a "leading edge" school which acts as a beacon for others.
He is a former eastern region winner of the Leadership Trust Award for School Leadership in a Secondary School.
