Billericay's two main secondary schools have their support behind a police crackdown on drug pushers.
Both Billericay School headteacher Sue Hammond and Mayflower deputy head Brian Mason also vowed to continue teaching pupils about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
Mrs Hammond said children as young as 11 were taught about the dangers of drugs.
She said: "We are very supportive of the police and their ability to deal with the drugs situation so we welcome this move. Our pupils are aware of the types of drugs they may be offered and the effects they may have on their bodies.
"We certainly encourage children to say 'No' and to take responsibility for their actions." Mr Mason said Mayflower High School was committed to making sure pupils knew the implications of drug-taking.
He said: "We have police officers come into the school and tell children about both the physical and legal effects of them getting involved with drink and drugs."
