Shoebury golfer Richard McEvoy faced an uphill battle to make the halfway cut in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond today.
Former Thorpe Hall amateur McEvoy shot a two over par opening 73 in yesterday's first round to lie joint 99th.
Today he faced a late 2.20pm tee-off time in his bid to stay involved for the last two rounds over the weekend.
