School children across Basildon joined forces to perform their very own version of the West End hit Lion King.

Abacus Primary School in Tresco Way, Wickford, was one of several schools including Oakfield, Castledon, Crays Hill Primary, Wickford Church of England Junior, Beauchamps, Wickford Junior and HillTop School, who worked with the Essex Dance Theatre to prepare for the show.
The production was performed to a packed house at Beauchamps School, Beauchamps Drive, Wickford.
