A second police-run clean-up of Canvey Lake is set for August.
PC Jess Fisher is organising the rubbish removal day after the success of the first tidy-up last month.
Teams of youngsters gave up a day during the half-term break to fill a skip with abandoned aluminium cans, bikes and trolleys from around the lake.
PC Fisher said: "The youngsters made a real difference, but already it looks almost as though it hasn't been done."
