Braintree Council plans to get refuse collections "back to normal" from next week.
All refuse and recycling pick-ups were suspended on Wednesday due to the adverse weather conditions.
It is hoped these collections will now take place tomorrow, except for green bins which will now be collected on Wednesday, February 11.
