West Ham boss Alan Pardew wants to see his players show what they are made of by overcoming their home hoodoo against Rotherham United tomorrow.
"We need big players with big balls to come and perform -- and looking round the dressing room I can see plenty of that," said Pardew.
"It's not about the pressure or expectation from the crowd: there have been games where I've stood on the touchline and felt them right with us.
"It is down to us more than them.
"Whatever they can do to lift us will help but it is a problem we have had for a couple of years now.
"We've had all sorts of excuses about moving the pitch and everything else, but we have to look at ourselves and conquer this problem."
Tomas Repka could return after illness and suspension but recent signing Adam Nowland is out with an ankle injury.
