For the second year running Essex County Amateur Golf Union are taking 16 of their best golfers for a winter break in southern Spain next month.
Local trio Paul Ring (Boyce Hill), Rhys Piper (Rochford) and Jason Renton (Basildon) are among the 16 making the trip.
The party will be led by Roger Walmsley, who promises that this will be no holiday break but an intensive programme of practice and training as well as playing.
The venue is the Islantilla Golf Complex in the Costa de la Luz and the 27-hole layout is described as one of southern Spain's finest courses.
