Dave Hemmings finished on top at Wednesday's silver-fish-only match at Hockley Angling Club.
He laneded a top weight of 15lb 15oz to see off the challenge of Len Mason, who was sitting on the golden peg and had to settle for the runners-up spot with 14lb 12oz.
Bill Rich finished third with 12lb 13oz while Peter Roue landed 12lb 6oz for fourth.
Sunday's match held by Ilford and District saw their Rob Court take first place, weighing in an incredible 196lb of carp.
Way behind in second was Colin Clark with still a very good weight for the time of year, of 36lb 2oz.
Barry Brooks was third with 23lb 4oz and Andrew McLeave fourth (23lb).
