Musicians from 10 schools in Essex will be taking part in a concert to give a grand finale to the Thomas Clark Appeal in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The concert is being held at King Edward V1 Grammar School in Chelmsford, on Friday March 5, to celebrate the culmination of a successful year of fundraising for the appeal, the Essex Chronicle's official charity for the past 12 months.
More than £55,000 has been raised through the appeal to launch a new Patient and Family Support Scheme to help teenage cancer patients and their families.
The pioneering Essex scheme will be set up in memory of Thomas Clark who died just over a year ago aged 15,after a two year battle against bone cancer.
