Young families are being given more support thanks to a new breakfast club which has been started by a local charity.
Witham, Braintree and Halstead Home-Start have recently set up the club at the Community Office in Howard Close, Braintree, with a great response according to organisers.
For the past 21 years the charity has been supporting families with young children in the district and the venue for this latest venture has been provided free of charge by Braintree council.
Home-Start works within the local community and this venue gives the scheme the opportunity to enable families to access its services.
Although it has been running for just two week senior co-ordinator, Kathy Butler, said the new venture has been an instant success.
