Furious residents along the North Essex coast have launched a new attack on weapons testing work being carried out at the New Ranges in Shoebury and on Foulness.
Complaints over explosions which rocked homes along the coast near Clacton have been officially taken up with the Ministry of Defence.
Residents in the Clacton area have claimed explosions from the site earlier in the month shook homes and left cracks in the walls of property, although there was no major impact nearer the ranges.
Chris Kitcher, assistant head of environmental services at Southend council, said his department was investigating the problems.
