Star students at a Colchester school have surpassed themselves again.

Last year, the sixth formers at Colchester Royal Grammar School set a record for the school by securing 21 places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
But this year's brain-boxes have scored an even higher number.
A total of 23 of the 17 and 18-year-old students have received offers from the Oxbridge colleges with 12 being offered places at Cambridge and 11 at Oxford.
Headteacher Ken Jenkinson said: "This is the highest number on record at the school and I am delighted that the achievement spans a wide variety of curriculum area and that a number of students who joined the school in the sixth form feature in this list."
