The 43-year-old has had his car and house windows broken countless times in the past six months and says he had no choice but to take preventative measures.
The tapes record footage at the front of his house in North Avenue, Canvey, for more than ten hours a day. He said: "I have had to install CCTV, I shouldn't have to do it, but I had no choice. The situation has got ridiculous.
"My windows are continuously broken by youths throwing stones, there is spit on my car and scratches. All I want to do is feel secure in my own home and hopefully with the help of the CCTV I can get proof which the police can use to prosecute these yobs."
