A nursery is celebrating the news that it has been given permission to expand.
Members of Rochford District Council's planning services Committee gave permission for the Rochford Day Care Nursery to use premises next door to its current location.
The plan will allow the Ashingdon Road nursery to recruit ten new members of staff and make use of a £40,000 grant from the National Lottery.
The new building, which was previously used by Rochford Primary School, will be used for breakfast and after school clubs for children up to 12-years-old, despite some fears over parking problems.
