Talented youngsters will be pirouetting their way on to centre stage this week as part of the Castle Point Celebration of Youth.
Around 200 children and teenagers are expected to turn out for the event, which involves all the schools in the borough.
The youngsters will have the chance to show off their dance, drama and music skills as part of the fun which takes place at the Paddocks community hall in Long Road, Canvey, on Thursday, January 29, and Friday, January 30.
Tickets to the event, which kicks off at 7.30pm on both nights, are £4 and money from the ticket sales goes to organise the shows and pay for equipment for the youngsters. Anyone wanting to buy a ticket should contact Anne Earl on 01268 681657.
