Two men are recovering in hospital from serious injuries after being stabbed outside a Clacton pub.
Police were called to the Brace of Pistols in St Johns Road by a member of the public following the incident on Friday night.
The men walked into the pub just before 8pm covered in blood.
However, by the time officers arrived, the two victims - who are both in their 30s - had already left the scene in a car.
They were driven off in a 4x4 by a man and a woman and later dropped off at Colchester General Hospital.
