Fans are keeping everything crossed as their team travels to the Midlands tomorrow to play Coventry City in the FA Cup fourth round.
As the U's will be wearing their orange away strip, the club is urging all fans to dress in anything orange-coloured to make sure the home team know they are in the ground.
Staff from Colchester company Funky Faces will be at Layer Road early on Saturday to do face painting for U's fans before coaches depart.
