Southend United striker Leon Constantine is hoping to continue his fine goalscoring form at promotion-pushing Mansfield Town.

The 25-year-old forward has netted 12 times in 25 starts so far this season and is looking to to improve his impressive tally against high-flying Stags tomorrow.

"I hope to get on the scoresheet in every game I play and, as a striker, if I don't get a goal, I'm always disappointed," said Constantine.

"I've got 12 so far this season - which isn't bad - but I'm not satisfied yet. I got one on Tuesday but I want more and I'll keep on going to try and get as many as possible."

And Constantine added the struggling Shrimpers were desperate to secure a morale-boosting victory at the Field Mill stadium this weekend.

"We need a win - nothing else will help us because we need to start getting some more victories in the League," said the former Leyton Orient hitman.
