A colourful orange army of more than 2,000 fans will crowd into Highfield Road tomorrow aiming to cheer Colchester United all the way to the FA Cup fifth round.
U's central defender Alan White
Cup-fighting U's are in fourth-round action against Nationwide First Division Coventry City and the football-loving public of Colchester - including eight official supporters' coaches - will be there in force to get right behind their team.
And with the U's close to selling out their original ticket allocation another 500 tickets will be on sale cash only on the turnstyles.
"It's fantastic news," said Layer Road favourite and popular central defender Alan White, who captained the side to LDV Vans Trophy glory at Northampton Town on Tuesday night.
He went on: "To have all those fans there will give the lads a great lift.
"It's what we've been working for all season and hopefully our success in the FA Cup and LDV Trophy has spread the word for them to come out and watch us."
