Billericay Town welcome back former New Lodge striker KK Opara for tomorrow's home Ryman Premier Essex derby with Ford United.
The ex-Leyton Orient man has rejoined the club from Heybridge Swifts.
But efforts to get another former Town favourite, one-time Wycombe Wanderers FA Cup hero Roy Essandoh, back in a Billericay shirt, have been foiled.
Said Town boss Justin Edinburgh: "We'd agreed a fee with Roy's chairman at Bishop's Stortford, but the player decided that, if he's going to make another move, he'd like to try and return to the Football League.
"Obviously it's a big disappointment as I know Roy was very popular here before and did well for the club."
