South Essex soccer star and Billericay Town fan Neil Ruddock has jetted off to the other side of the world to take part in the latest series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
Former Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham star "Razor"' Ruddock, who lives near Billericay, is set to join a host of celebrities for the jungle-based reality TV show.
Ruddock replaced fellow footballer Stan Collymore in the show when the former Southend United striker pulled out.
Among those battling for the title of king or queen of the jungle will be glamour model Jordan and 90s pop star Peter Andre.
I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, won last year by cricketer Phil Tufnell, begins on ITV on Monday.
