A laundry is to close with the loss of at least 50 jobs - but neighbours were today celebrating after years of campaigning for its shutdown.
Sunlight Service Group told 94 staff at its laundry, in Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff, it is to close on February 6.
Some delivery and operations work will be transferred to two other sites in Basildon and one just outside Southend, but the bulk of the business will be transferred to London.
