Ian Westlake is hoping to fulfil a dream this weekend by making his FA Cup debut for Ipswich Town.
The midfielder is desperate to keep his place in the team for Saturday's fourth-round clash with Sunderland at Portman Road.
It would be his first-ever game in the competition after illness forced him to miss Town's 3-0 third-round win against Derby.
And the Clacton-based midfielder told the Evening Gazette: "I'd absolutely love to play and make my debut in the FA Cup.
"People always say it's the most famous competition in the world and they're absolutely right.
"It would be a real landmark to be involved and I just hope I keep my place in the side."
