A vehicle transporter carrying vans shed its load on the A12 today causing traffic chaos for drivers.

The accident happened about 7am when the Daf transporter jackknifed, shedding its load of vans on to the northbound carriageway.
The incident happened just after the Colchester turn-off, heading northbound.
The accident affected the A12 between junctions 27 and 29, and police closed the whole northbound carriageway as well as one lane of the south bound carriageway.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene and AA Roadwatch told drivers to expect at least a 30-minute delay
PC Steve Woods, of Stanway road policing unit, said it was an "absolute miracle" no-one had been badly hurt.
