A new organisation designed to give older people a voice will soon be launched.
The Southend Older People's Forum will allow residents to collect information and put questions directly to those who provide services in the town.
Public meetings will be held at which older people will be able to comment and ask questions on all aspects of living in Southend.
The launch will take place at the Southend Association of Voluntary Services Centre, Alexandra Street, Southend, on February 12, at 10am.
