A public swimming pool has been forced to shut after being open for just two weeks.
Months of work and thousands of pounds were poured into the swimming pool at the Waterside Farm sports complex following the discovery of asbestos.
The pool was opened again on December 30, but Castle Point Council has had to close it again because it was operating without a safety certificate.
