A superstore is holding a Christmas gift amnesty giving customers a chance to hand over any unwanted presents to charity.
The Asda store at Tilbury is offering people the chance to get rid of any unwanted gifts until the end of the month, with customers able to anonymously drop off unwanted presents in a trolley at the front of the store.

After January 31, they will be distributed to local charities.
"Santa can't get it right all the time," said Paul Thomas, the store manager.
"I'm sure we've all received the odd present or two that we wouldn't dream of buying for ourselves.
"Rather than consign the gift to the back of the cupboard, we thought it would be a good idea to donate them to a local charity."
