Maldon Town boss Colin Wallington wants his players to forget the fact they are up against heavyweights AFC Sudbury in tonight's Ridgeons League premier division clash at King's Marsh (kick-off 7.45pm).
All he wants his them to think about is gaining three more points as they look to catch up with leading pair Sudbury and Diss Town.
As it stands at the moment, Diss have re-taken the top spot from Sudbury with the King's Marsh side not able to add any more points to their tally at the weekend due to their FA Vase fixture against Desborough.
Former Maldon striker Sam Banya was on hand on Saturday to bag a second-half hat-trick to put the Suffolk side through to the next round of the prestigious competition.
It was the FA Vase last season which cultivated a rivalry between the two clubs.
Maldon were dumped out of the competition by Sudbury at the semi-final stage last season.
Maldon will be without Nicky Simpson due to work commitments
