Stephen Meddle reckons enough is enough after the service into London was disrupted several times in the past few weeks.
The father-of-four from Ayletts, Basildon, works in Farringdon on the photo desk of a news agency, but his daily commute can sometimes take up to two-and-a-half hours.
He reckons that since the beginning of January his c2c train has been late eight times.
The 37-year-old said: "I am disgusted by the amount my ticket has gone up. It has risen by £500 for this year. That is a massive chunk of my monthly outgoing."
