Defiant Colchester United boss Phil Parkinson today called on his players to 'roll up their sleeves and get stuck in' as they prepare for one of the biggest weeks in their season.

"We've got to put Saturday's disappointing two-goal setback at Swindon behind us," he said.

"And roll up our sleeves, keep working hard and make sure we give nothing away in tomorrow's LDV Vans Trophy area semi-final at Northampton and Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie at Coventry City.

"We'll have a lot of key players back for those games," he said.

His squad depleted by injuries or suspensions to six senior players, Parkinson was clearly disillusioned by the nature of his players demise at high-flying Swindon.

"We conceded two very poor goals and made life very difficult for ourselves," he said.
