Thurrock will be hoping to quickly recover from their FA Trophy demise tomorrow when they visit Essex rivals Heybridge Swifts in the Ryman Premier.
Colin McBride's men had been rated a good bet for a decent Trophy run, but all that went by the board when they crashed 3-2 at Division One North Wealdstone.
Thurrock have been going well in the league and victory tomorrow, which is by no means certain as derbies are desperately difficult to predict, could see them move into second spot if Carshalton are beaten at Kettering.
