Boxer Marcus Poston was nearly left without a fight after his opponent's family won the lottery!
Marcus, 17, of Manningtree, was due to fight Liam Walsh on Saturday at the Park Pavilion in Dovercourt.
But at the last minute, his opponent's trainer called to say the fighter's dad had won the Lotto and had taken his Felixstowe family on holiday to Tenerife.
Chief coach at Harwich Amateur Boxing Club Martin Webb said frantic efforts were then made to secure another contestant.
He added: "Call me Don King or not, but I've now found an opponent. He's from 3 Para, Jay Hughes."
