For the third year running, Maldon's renowned Promenade Park has been allowed to let the prestigious Green Flag fly high.
The park is one of 16 in the eastern region, nine of those in Essex, to achieve the standard
At an official ceremony, district councillor Julia Peel, chairman of the community services committee, said: "We're are extremely proud as a council. To receive one is a huge privilege, but to have it three years in succession is remarkable."
The Green Flag Award Scheme aims to recognise and reward standards of excellence in parks and green spaces.
