Southend's Essex Golf Complex held their annual captains drives in with new club leader Paul Mitchell and lady counterpart Sandra Sicheri starting the proceedings by hitting exploding golf balls.
Mitchell then treated onlookers to an array of impressions of club members.
The drive-in was preceeded by the annual captain's bogey competition, won by Eddie Edwards on plus six.
Viravong Hongphakdy came second, beating Mark Wilson on countback after both finished on plus four.
The two captains took the opportunity of launching this year's nominated charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind, which has benefitted to the tune of over £500 in two weeks.
