The mother and toddler group at Abacus Primary School, in Tresco Way, Wickford, held the event for the Meningitis Trust.
A total of £380 has been handed over to the charity with another £50 still to come.
Organisers Nina Fisher and Dawn Cooper were delighted by the fundraising efforts.
The charity was picked as Dawn's daughter Jodie was diagnosed with meningitis when she was just five-months-old. Jodie, now two, has made a full recovery.
