Scotland target Tommy Miller is determined to breathe life into his 'stop-stop season' and help Ipswich Town make a flying start in 2004.
The midfielder was watched by Scotland boss Berti Vogts during Saturday's disappointing 1-1 Nationwide League Division One draw at Reading.
But, more important to the 25-year-old is helping the Blues finish in the play-off zone - starting with Saturday's home clash with Crewe Alexandra.
Miller told the Evening Gazette: "Joe Royle described my season as 'stop-stop' in one of his press conferences last week and I totally agree.
"This season has been one of total frustration for me.
"I've had injury problems and never really got going.
"It's been difficult for me to get into a routine and I'm determined to start afresh in 2004."
Miller scored his fifth goal of the season in Town's first game of the year, the 3-0 FA Cup win against Derby.
He said: "It was a lovely way to start 2004, although I should have scored another one."
