Southend United striker Drewe Broughton is "gutted" to be missing tonight's cup clash with Scarborough.
Seeing red - Drewe Broughton is dismissed after 'snapping' against Oxford
The hard-working hit-man netted his first League goal of the season against Cheltenham Town last Friday but begins a two match suspension this evening following his recent red card against Oxford United.
"I'm gutted to be out of the next two games but there's nothing I can do about it," said Broughton. "I just snapped against Oxford and I have to live with that now."
But Broughton is predicting another tough tussle for the Shrimpers at the McCain Stadium.
"I played on loan in the Conference a couple of years ago and there's not a vast difference between the two levels," he said.
