Gritty Rochford Hundred came back from the dead to complete a memorable double over league-leading neighbours Basildon at Gardiners Lane -- snatching a last-gasp victory.
In a nail-biting contest that went down to the wire, with Tom 'Jonny' Ashton kicking the winning points on the final whistle to seal a 13-12 London 4NE victory.
Ashton stole the show - scoring all Rochford's points as they stole victory from under their hosts' noses.
Basildon led 12-3 with a few minutes left, but stand-off Ashton forced his way under the posts after good work by both forwards and backs to throw his side a lifeline.
He kicked the conversion to haul his side to within two points of Basildon, and got his chance to secure an unlikely victory two minutes into injury time.
A drive into the home 22 resulted in a Rochford penalty on the touchline and Ashton kept his nerve to strike the ball sweetly through the posts.
