Despite playing their full part in an entertaining game, Tilbury were held at home by Boreham Wood and now stand fourth from bottom in Ryman Division One North.
The home side fell behind to a Sherwin Stanley effort which deflected in off home man Kevin Jopson after only ten minutes, but hit back in spirited fashion with Dean Cleaver and Shaun Rees-Brown both going close.
Tilbury levelled two minutes into the second half, Shayne Mangodza heading home Barrie Fox's far-post cross, but could not grab a winner despite heavy pressure, Indeed, the visitors could have won but for Barry Winston missing out on a great chance six minutes from time.
