Jermaine Wright today threw down the gauntlet to his Ipswich Town team-mates by urging them to prove their promotion credentials.
The Blues were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw in Saturday's Nationwide League Division One clash at Reading.
And Wright, cursing two dropped points, told the Evening Gazette: "We go into games like this believing we're the better side.
"But it's vital we start proving that by taking maximum points.
"The players were frustrated at the end because we feel we should have taken more from the game, especially after dominating in terms of possession.
"We killed them in the first 20 minutes but never got behind their defence and lacked a cutting edge. We needed to create more chances."
