Hijackers bundled a delivery driver into the back of his van and stole mobile phones worth £10,000.
The driver told police he was doing a drop-off in Langham when two men forced him into the back of his vehicle and taped up his hands
They drove around for about three hours with him in the back before dumping the green and yellow Citylink van in a track near a waterworks in Boxted.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who saw people or a vehicle hanging around in Chapel Road, Langham, yesterday morning.
The van driver told police the first hijacker was white, 5ft 7ins tall, with a medium build, wearing a black peaked cap and a black jacket.
The second man was also white, but there was no further description available.
