Accessible cooking for all is now on the menu at Chalvedon School, Pitsea, thanks to a firm's £2,100 charity donation.
The money, from Visteon Corporation, will pay for adaptations to the Wickford Avenue school's home technology cookery area, so disabled pupils can use it as well as able-bodied ones.
The company, an automotive systems and component supplier has a global fund supporting children and the environment.
